Pedagogical practices are an essential part of learning so that they occur effectively; the student needs to stop seeing the educational process as individualised, restricted only to their knowledge. The educator's vision must include the social relations of the school, the school structure and the reality of the students.At a time when consumerism and utilitarianism contribute to the "atrophy" of sensitivity, the study of art can be a way to train the senses, refine the taste, in short, better understand human nature itself.


As práticas pedagógicas são uma parte importante da aprendizagem para que ocorram de forma eficaz, o aluno precisa deixar de ver o processo educacional como algo individualizado, que se restringe apenas ao seu conhecimento. A visão do educador deve incluir as relações sociais da escola, a estrutura escolar e a realidade dos alunos. Numa época em que o consumismo e o utilitarismo contribuem para a “atrofia” da sensibilidade, o estudo da arte pode ser uma forma de treinar os sentidos, apurar o gosto, enfim, compreender melhor a própria natureza humana.

Visually literate students develop an acute sense of the language of the arts (music, drama, dance and visual arts) when reading a work of art. Culture is part of all that visual information that we are bombarded with daily through TV, newspapers, magazines and the internet. It is a right of every citizen, a democratic act, as we live in a society of images.


Alunos alfabetizados visualmente para desenvolver um senso crítico da linguagem das artes (música, teatro, dança e artes visuais) ao ler uma obra de arte. Esse é um direito de todo cidadão, um ato democrático, pois vivemos em uma sociedade de imagens. A cultura faz parte de toda aquela informação visual que somos bombardeados diariamente através da TV, jornais, revistas e internet.



















It is up to the teacher to plan the class, select the didactic content, and stimulate the students' curiosity and creativity to become subjects of their history.

Cabe ao professor planejar a aula, selecionando os conteúdos didáticos, estimulando a curiosidade e a criatividade dos alunos, para que se tornem sujeitos de sua própria história.
